Very Simple Card

August 26, 2011

Good morning! Hope your week was good and that your weekend is even better! It's my last weekend with my brother before he heads off to college, so this weekend may have less posts. The concert last night was amazing! The lead singer of Train touched my hand!! That was my favorite part of the whole thing. And if you had not read yesterdays post then, you are probably confused...last night was the start of the New York State Fair and my friend brought me.

Anyway, today I have a really easy, simple card to share with you all. It's another OWH card that goes along with a few challenges. The first one is over at CAS-ual Fridays challenge #17 Stuck on You. The other is at the Hand Stamped Sentiment Blog where they are hosting a banner bash challenge! So, on to the card and after that you can check out those two challenges!

This card is A2 sized which is 4.25 by 5.5" of kraft cardstock. The ledger paper is from DCWV Winter Mat Stack. It's 3.75 by 3.50 and I rounded the bottom corners. My little banner is 3/4" wide and is also kraft cardstock.
The sentiment is by Hero Arts from the stamp set trees, birds, and messages. It is stamped in Color Box Dark Brown ink.
Now one thing I learned from this card is I am not good AT ALL with border rubons! The one I used from Basic Grey was beautiful but I MURDERED it, the poor little thing. Oh, well I still love this card!

Thats it for now! If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment or email me! Thanks for stopping by! Have a good weekend.
