Get Well Card!

December 10, 2012

Hey there everyone! Thanks for stopping by, I've been very busy lately as you can probably tell from my lack of posts and videos (sorry!), but I hope to have a minimum of a video every two weeks from now on, hopefully more. Now on with the card!

Using a base made of kraft cardstock (A2 sized), landscape position.
I cut a piece of blue cardstock from Colorbok to 3 x 5 1/2
Then, upon that piece of the puzzle I stamped the sentiment from a TCP Studio stamp set in Colorbok black ink.

For my little cup of tea, I colored it in with my lovely little watercolor set (that I love to death!)
The stamp, however, is from a Fiskars acrylic stamp set from Joann's (snatched it up for five bucks!)
It is stamped and colored upon simple watercolor paper from WalMart.
Then, that is layered upon a 1 3/4" strip of polka dotted paper also from WalMart.

To add a little more detail to this CAS card, I added brown satin ribbon I picked up at the dollar store, tied in a know.

And Viola the card is complete!
Thanks for stopping by me and my little old blog, there is also a video of me assembling the card over on my youtube!
Thanks again:)
