Daring Duos: Unexpected Spring Nail Polish Colors

March 03, 2014

Spring is right around the corner and with it comes rain, sunshine, and pastels!
We all know that pastels are always in during the springtime, but sometimes we need a little refresher from all of these baby pinks and baby blues.

Today I bring to you a daring nail polish duo that'll break you out of the typical pastel phase.

Without getting too crazy, I paired a light lavender color with a mid-tone gray. Some people are not fond of gray and see it as a very drab color (if it's even a color), however I find that it's very neutral and although the purple is wild for some outfit pairings the gray can keep you on track.

The colors I used are from two different companies. The purple is called "loving lavender" by AVON and Charlotte Russe is the gray called "Concrete Jungle" (which is perfect for my trip to NYC in a couple weeks!).

I hope you give a try out to a gray nail polish combined with a pastel sometime soon! This gray would also look great with a vintage light blue, or a light yellow.

Tell me what your favorite colored nail polishes for the springtime are in the comments and you could be featured on here! Stop by again soon!
