Card: Adding A Sweet Touch

May 16, 2014

Sorry I've been off the grid for so long! I just got back from a wonderful trip to Florida and Disney was as magical as ever! I will be having some travel tips in a few weeks! And there was actually a further delay on this post from a wonderful five days in the Big Apple (NYC)! No wifi on the six hour train ride back was really not fun.

Now, for today's cards I bring some simple and sweet cards most likely for the younger girls in your life, but whomever the style may fit!

This first card has a slight vintage flair.

I used some kraft and yellow cardstocks to make the background. The cute rose paper is from
a package of papers I received in a swap.

This next card is perfect for a little girl in your life! This paper by DCWV is from a mat stack I have called Sweet Stuff.

The sentiment I used is very non-traditional for birthdays and is actually from a stamp set by Fiskars

This next card features the same border punch and gray papers, but uses a non-traditional birthday stamp into a beautiful birthday card.

I have learned to use several animal stamps and pairing them with this happy birthday bubble stamp which you could easily DIY on your own too!

This little fella is from a studio g wooden set that I colored with some Prisma colored pencils.
The next card really plays up the pink and green spring color sheme.

The sweetest touch on this card is the beautiful flowerish border punch by Fiskars.
