How To: Resume Tips & Tricks!

11:23:00 AM

Sure I'm a teen and have only had three experiences during interviews, but I have done my research!

If you haven't made a resume yet, there's your first step!

Depending on what you'll be applying for (i.e. summer job, internship, or professional job) your resume will differ slightly.

Make sure you only have relevant information as in no one needs to know you were on you high school jv soccer team for one year when you're interviewing for a professional career as a chef...or something of that sort, but you get my drift there.

Now some physical resume tips to make them more ascetically pleasing.

Print your font in a color lighter than black, but nothing crazy. So, try a dark blue, or a gray.
If you only have black ink and feel no point in changing the font color, then at least make sure you print it on bond paper, or any fancy, heavier weight paper. This makes a great impression compared to printer paper.

There are several tutorials and other blogs/videos on how to better your resume out there too!

Hope this helped at least a little bit!
