The Beauty of Using Evernote

September 22, 2014

Have you ever heard of the app/computer software/program/it does pretty much everything called Evernote? The one with the little elephant as its' symbol? Well if you haven't here's a sneak peak at all the great things it does!

First off, here's the lowdown of Evernote. It is basically a giant book full of all the lists you could ever dream to create and will synchronize with wherever you have the app, so your phone, tablet, or another computer. I have the free version so this is just the overview of the features available to me.

So there's Notebooks and then Notes, notes go into your notebooks. There is also a tagging system in which you can search a tag such as blogging and all your notes related to blogging will show up in a quick and easy search.

Another feature I love about this program is that you can download a tool called "Clip" and it goes in the top right of your browser. You can highlight an entire page of information or pictures or whatever and then "Clip" it and Evernote will save it in a note for you just like that.

You can also share your notes with other Evernote users which is pretty neat I'd say. I have yet to sue that feature because I mainly use my Evernote for organizing what I have to do, things I want to blog about, things I've already blogged about and more.

Do you use Evernote? If you do let me know what you're favorite part of it is! Mine is definitely the "Clip" feature!
