How to get out of a slump!

October 23, 2014

From my own personal experience I find myself slowly going out less and less as the weather gets colder and colder. The winter slump is creeping in and here's a few ways to get out of the upcoming blues!

#1. Make a coffee date with one of your friends

If you're like me, hot drinks are really not your style, but having a good conversation with a great friend is! So, make some plans and have a friend over or treat yourselves with cute pastries over a warm cup of jo!

#2. Read a book

There's nothing better than cuddling up with one of your favorite blankets and one of the books on your "to read" list. Immersing yourself into another world can really refresh you and put different perspectives even on your own life sometimes, hopefully relieving some of your stress. To make it extra fun add a cup of hot cocoa!

#3. Bake a batch of cookies

Tell me what is better than a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven? If that part isn't your favorite then it probably is the cookie dough, but don't eat too much! For a little extra boost give a few to a friend to share!

Thanks for stopping by!
