DIY School Supplies // BTS11:00:00 AM
As school is rapidly approaching all of us, the school supplies are starting to go on sale. I must say that I do enjoy going school shopping for supplies, clothes, and whatever else I need, but I also tend to find that sometimes there isn't really what I want in school supplies. No matter if you want polkadots, stripes, sparkles, or studs there is a way to DIY it!
Today, I am here to show you a few different ideas for decorating your school supplies! To watch me decorate them, click this link or wait until the end of this post for my video.
I just broke out some basic, inexpensive school supplies that I thought could use a little sprucing up. So, I gathered some notebooks, pencils, binder clips, and more.
I also pulled out some alphabet stickers, some animal and icon stickers, patterned paper, and of course washi tape from my stash! My first completed project was using some patterned paper and some alphabet stickers. All of these projects could also be transformed into teacher gifts, like this initial notebook that I made below.
Washi tape is an inexpensive and easy to use embellishment. I used some on a notebook, pencils, and some binder clips! No matter what kind of colors or patterns you might love, there is a washi tape that'll suit you and your supplies! You can find washi tape many different places like craft stores, dollar stores, online, Etsy, Walmart, Target and more.
This is a really inexpensive way to personalize your school supplies, plus you can also make them all coordinate! The owl stickers I used are from Walmart (so many little owls for such a good price!).
Another great DIY idea you could try is using mod podge and some pictures to create a collage on the cover of your planner or notebooks!
Here's the process video of all the projects I made. I hope you enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed this DIY for back to school. Please let me know what other types of posts and videos you'd like to see as well as your ideas for decorating your school supplies in the comments!
