5 signs you're addicted to Pinterest // Using Pinterest Correctly11:00:00 AM
We all know Pinterest is the holy land for DIYs, but we also all know that it can be a huge black hole that sucks you in and doesn't let you out for a few hours. Pinterest is a bookmarking website that presents that information in a visual way. This is very appealing to the DIY, fashion, beauty, and many more industries. If at this point whenever you see a mason jar you automatically think of the million DIY ideas you've thought of or have seen on Pinterest, then you're addicted to Pinterest.
I really should've started this post with saying 'Hi everyone. My name is Katelyn and I am addicted to Pinterest' but instead I decided that you guys probably already know that by now. As many of you are fellow crafters, fashionistas, or lifestylists I thought that this would be a comical post for many of you. So, without further ado, here are five signs that you're addicted to Pinterest.
You dream of mason jars, glitter, and Christmas year round. First off, I'd like to point out that I don't think any of these things are bad (heck, who wouldn't like to dream of Christmas year round?!), but there's a certain extent in to which it is consider normal.
When you see a DIY in real life and you know you have already pinned it. I must admit that it hurts a little bit deep in my soul when someone completes a DIY before me. But I'm always willing to take a challenge to out DIY someone.
You shop for everyone, for every occasion on Pinterest. It's perfectly fine that you want to make presents for everyone, but beware that Pinterest fails are right around the corner. Typically, this kind of last minute plan leads me to Walmart to spend money on more supplies that I didn't originally have. Lesson learned people: plan early.
You have *on multiple occasions* dragged an innocent friend or family member into numerous craft stores or craft sections. Those poor souls never stood a chance (but let's face it, you had the coupons packed in your purse the whole time).
You tell everyone you saw this amazing project and that you've got to do it soon. You know all of those Christmas cards you were going to make this year (and told everyone about)? Then, you end up sending out purchased cards instead. I mean life happens, right?
I hope you all enjoyed this comedic post about Pinterest. We're all Pinterest addicts at heart! If you have any other signs of Pinterest addiction tell me in the comments!
