Paper Pumpkin Tutorial - August 2015 // Chalk it up to love11:00:00 AM
Hello everyone! I hope you're enjoying your weekend! Today I finally had time to film Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kit for September! This adorable kit comes with three different projects (with multiples of each). If you've never heard of Paper Pumpkin before, it's a subscription based service that allows you to purchase, on a monthly fee, a special craft box that includes a stamp set and all of the supplies. I tried this out when they had their promotion for 50% off (it was a good deal!). So, here's my first experience with Paper Pumpkin, I hope you enjoy! Stay tuned for the video at the end of this post!
Here's an overview and close up of what you gen in this kit. The stamp set this month has quite a few sentiments that I love. I don't even think I have a sympathy sentiment stamp yet, so this works out wonderfully! In addition to your stamp set, you'll also get an acrylic block and a stampin' spot. This box has a white stampin' spot which I'm excited about because I don't have a great white ink pad yet.
You also get all of the papers and additional embellishments you'll need (and a few extras) in the shrink wrapped package. Before you go out to the craft store and buy glue, don't fret! There's glue in the kit! The only things you'll need for this kit is a pencil and some scissors.
Here are all the pieces for the first project. The three projects in this kit are two cards and then a cute little box. I have everything laid out that you'll need to make the first card. To see the details on how I put everything together, check out the video on my YouTube channel (or the end of this post)!
Here are the finished final products! All three of these DIYs go together well. I love the chalk look that the white ink gives on the black tags. Stampin' Up leaves you a lot of room for creativity if you don't like something about the project, you can easily edit and adjust to your style and even incorporate your own supplies in with the coordinating ones.
Here's the tutorial on how to make all of these wonderful little projects! I hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by!
