Finals Week Survival Guide // Tips for Studying & more!

December 03, 2015

Finals week is less than two weeks away for me, whoa this semester went by fast! I must say that my crazy 19 credit semester is leaving me in a whirlwind of finals to endure, but nonetheless I'm still here to help you along with your finals too! I've complied my top tips for the survival guide to finals week and I hope this helps you out!

First off, you've got to prioritize. If you know when your tests are, then you can plan out when you can fit studying into your schedule. Planning it out now, will help your nerves calm just a little bit. This is one of those times that I listened to my own advice (but you definitely should)!

Second, you need to get rid of distractions. You know they're bad for your studying!! So, turn off the TV, mute your cell phone (better yet, turn it off), tell your friends that you can't hang out, and don't get off course.

Third, you need study breaks. Every hour or so, give yourself a snack break, or a paint your nails break, or a whatever lasts around 15 minutes, but you must set a timer. I do not recommend going on social media because that is a portal you do not want to get sucked into.

Fourth, try some breathing exercises. Look them up online and soon you'll be as cool as a cucumber while studying up a storm.

Fifth, go out there and kick some butt! You've got this!! You have studied so hard (and if you didn't, you a least absorbed some information while you fell asleep on your book).

Good luck on all of your finals! I hope you enjoyed these quick little tips. Now, stop reading ways to survival your finals and go study! Thanks for stopping by!
