Lovable Adorable // 12x12 Layout Share11:00:00 AM
I have a layout share for you all today that I hope you'll enjoy! It features one 4 inch by 4 inch photo of two of my pets cuddling next to each other. Does it get any cuter?? I had no plan for this layout at the beginning, but as I was looking at my paper stacks, I figured I should probably start using some of them! I picked out this really fun triangular pattern for the biggest section of my layout. This paper is from DCWV and the minty lace paper pad.
I used this fabulous paper in conjunction with some white cardstock to create a 12x12 background. Once that was completed I used another pattern from the Minty Lace stack by DCWV to mat my photo. I also pulled out a square Freckled Fawn doily. I knew I wanted to pop my photo up on some fun foam as well.
After flipping through the stack, I found some papers to back behind my photo. I also found some fun cut-aparts to use. Some of these include the ampersand piece and the adorable piece. To create a border between the patterned paper and cardstock in the background, I used two strips of washi tape a and a fun black border. I think this is a great way to provide contrast and keep the layout cohesive.
I created two fun clusters, one in the top left and one in the bottom right. The top left consists of a fun polka dot circle and some fun embellishment layering. I took a banner piece from the Fancy Pants Office Suite collection and layered it with a cut out from the DCWV stack. I finished off that cluster with some enamel dots, resin flowers, star stickers from Pretty Little Studio, word stickers from Seven Paper and a wood veneer asterisk. The bottom cluster is made of a Wilton doily. some more Fancy Pants tags, a chipboard love, then more final embellishments that are found in the other cluster as well.
I absolutley adore the way this layout came out. It has varying textures and tons of patterns! I hope you enjoyed today's project. Be sure to subscribe and comment so I know that you did. Product links down below as always! Thank you so much for stopping by! Do you like using a lot of patterns on your layouts?
