Take Me to the Mountains TN Process | Montana TN - Summer of Stories

This is a monumental moment for me, my first layout back in months and it felt amazing! As you'll see in the process video, this didn't take long for me to complete at all. I was so inspired by all the beautiful products in my kit that this page just fell together effortlessly. It feels good to be back and documenting memories on paper again! This time is even more special because I get to do it alongside my friend, Sara Scraps, as part of Summer of Stories!

This spread really captures my first moments in Montana. Fresh off the plane at LAX, wait wrong airport. Also, this is the smallest airport I have ever been to. It seemed smaller than my high school even! I had a few photos capturing my moments as I waited for my Lyft to pick me up and bring me to my hotel. I loved the immediate smell of pine trees as seen as you got outside. I wanted to capture both the pines and the mountainous views I had seen from the sky that I now got to see on the ground. There were a lot of adventures to be had ahead.

I liked mixing and matching products to create this luscious combo of peach, deep green and pops of blue. Utilizing a lot of die cuts and stickers from the One Canoe Two Goldenrod collection made it easy. I paired it with some accents like a label sticker from Freckled Fawn, puffy flower stickers from We R Memory Keepers, washi tape from Me and My Big Ideas, and lastly paper and cut-apart from Craft Smith. It really all worked in perfect harmony.

Let me know what you think of this traveler's notebook spread! I adore this color scheme and I'm so happy to have found bits and bobs that coordinate so well! You can shop some of the older products featured in this spread below. Thanks for stopping by!
